I have prepared 3 versions of professional RO membrane product introductions for different usage scenarios, covering complete technical specifications, core advantages, application scenarios, and compliance information, which can be directly used for product manuals, e-commerce listings, and promotional materials
1. Full Version (For Product Manual / Enterprise Official Website)
Reverse Osmosis (RO) membrane is the core filtration component of pressure-driven water purification systems, which adopts the principle of semi-permeable membrane to separate and remove dissolved salts, heavy metals, bacteria, viruses, organic pollutants, and micro-impurities from water at the molecular level. Our RO membrane is made of high-quality thin-film composite (TFC) polyamide material, with a precision-engineered active layer and reinforced support structure. It delivers ultra-high desalination efficiency, stable water flux, excellent fouling resistance, and long service life, fully meeting the needs of residential drinking water purification, industrial water treatment, and water desalination projects.

Parameter | Standard Specification |
Membrane Active Layer Material | Thin-Film Composite (TFC) Polyamide |

Nominal Stable Desalination Rate | 97.5% ~ 99.8% |
Initial Desalination Rate | ≥99.2% (test condition: 2000ppm NaCl solution, 150psi, 25℃) |
Operating Pressure Range | 100psi ~ 600psi (0.7MPa ~ 4.2MPa) |
Maximum Continuous Operating Temperature | 45℃ |
Feed Water pH Range | 2 ~ 11 (continuous operation); 1 ~ 12 (short-term chemical cleaning) |
Maximum Feed Water Turbidity | 1 NTU |
Maximum Feed Water SDI (15min) | 5 |
Free Chlorine Tolerance | ≤0.1ppm (continuous exposure) |
Permeate Water Recovery Rate | 15% ~ 75% (adjustable according to system design) |
1. Ultra-High Filtration Performance The nanoscale precision polyamide active layer achieves a maximum desalination rate of 99.8%, effectively removing 99%+ of dissolved salts, heavy metals (lead, cadmium, arsenic, etc.), bacteria, viruses, organic compounds, and micro-plastics, ensuring the effluent meets WHO drinking water standards and industrial high-purity water requirements.
2. High Water Flux & Low Energy Consumption Optimized membrane pore structure and hydrophilic surface modification deliver 10%~20% higher water permeability than traditional RO membranes, reducing the system's required operating pressure and overall energy consumption, effectively lowering long-term operation costs.
3. Excellent Fouling Resistance & Long Service Life The membrane surface is treated with a hydrophilic anti-adhesion coating, which significantly reduces the adsorption of organic pollutants, colloids, and microorganisms, slows down membrane fouling. Under standard operating conditions, the service life can reach 3~5 years, greatly reducing replacement frequency and downtime costs.
4. Wide Compatibility & Easy Maintenance The membrane element is fully compatible with most standard RO membrane housings on the market, easy to install and replace. It has excellent acid and alkali resistance, compatible with common cleaning agents (citric acid, sodium hydroxide, etc.), and can restore 95%+ of its performance after regular chemical cleaning.
5. Stable Quality & Consistent Performance Every RO membrane undergoes 100% pressure resistance testing and performance calibration before leaving the factory, ensuring no obvious degradation of desalination rate and water flux even after long-term continuous operation, with consistent and reliable effluent quality.
· Residential & Commercial Water Purification: Under-sink RO water purifiers, direct drinking water dispensers, commercial water vending machines, office water stations
· Industrial Water Treatment: Boiler feed water, cooling water, process water for electronics, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, and textile industries
· Water Desalination: Brackish water desalination, seawater desalination for coastal areas, islands, and remote areas
· Wastewater Reuse: Industrial wastewater treatment, municipal sewage reuse, zero-discharge water systems
· Special Water Preparation: Laboratory pure water systems, medical water purification, cosmetic and beverage production water preparation
1. Installation Requirements
o Before installation, fully flush the pretreatment system to remove residual impurities, dust, and protective liquid in the pipeline
o Install the membrane element strictly according to the system design direction, ensure the sealing ring is in place to avoid leakage
o After installation, perform low-pressure flushing for 30~60 minutes to completely remove the protective liquid in the membrane before starting normal operation
2. Daily Maintenance
o Regularly check and record the system's operating pressure, water flux, and desalination rate
o Replace pretreatment filter elements (PP filter, activated carbon filter) regularly according to the feed water quality
o Perform chemical cleaning in time when the water flux drops by 10% or the operating pressure increases by 15%
3. Storage Conditions
o Unused membrane elements should be stored in a cool, dry, ventilated environment, with a storage temperature of 5~35℃, avoiding direct sunlight and freezing
o For long-term system shutdown, fill the membrane with 1% sodium metabisulfite protective solution and seal it to prevent microbial growth
